The Project Story

A difficult sloped turf area became a cleaner, more useful landscape.

This West Jordan property had common Utah landscape problems: a sloped turf area, irrigation water that could run downhill before reaching the root zone, and outdoor space that was not working as well as it could.

Millburn redesigned the landscape as a complete system with terracing, decorative boulders, water-wise plantings, artificial turf, pavers, drip irrigation, dedicated lines for potted plants, and outdoor lighting.

Before & After

The article tells the story. This page shows the result.

Instead of simply replacing grass with rock, the project created structure, usable space, plant texture, lighting, irrigation improvements, and cleaner curb appeal.

Project Results

Three reasons this landscape transformation matters for Utah homeowners.

1

Smarter Water Use

Drip irrigation, smarter zones, and reduced traditional turf help move water where it creates the most value.

2

Less Upkeep

Artificial turf, pavers, boulders, and water-wise plantings can reduce the upkeep tied to slopes, runoff, and hard-to-manage turf areas.

3

Thousands in Possible Rebates

Depending on the location and program requirements, conservation rebates may help offset part of a qualifying landscape renovation.

Could Your Landscape Qualify?

Rebates can change the math before the project starts.

Many Utah homeowners wait too long to ask about water-conservation programs. Eligibility, funding, documentation, and rebate amounts can vary by location and water district, so the best time to review options is early.

Millburn can help you explore whether your landscape may be a fit for water-wise improvements, then design the project around your property, budget, water use, and maintenance goals.
