Fence styles
Cedar, vinyl and ornamental steel.
Privacy, security or curb appeal. Pick the style, and we build it to fit your property.
What we build
One crew from measurement to finish.
We measure the line, set the posts, hang the fence and gates, and paint or stain cedar when you want it finished. You deal with one team the whole way.
Cedar
7/8" cedar slats in 2" to 6" widths, on 4x4 or 6x6 posts, for a natural privacy fence you can paint or stain.
Vinyl
A clean, low-upkeep fence that doesn't need staining or repainting, in styles for privacy or open yards.
Ornamental steel and gates
Steel fencing and custom gates for security, pool areas and entries, with reinforced gate frames.
What clients say
Designed well. Built on time and on budget.

How it works
From measurement to the last gate latch.
1
Consultation
We walk the property, talk through privacy, pets, gates and style, and measure the run.
2
Layout and pricing
You get the fence type, height, gate locations and pricing before you commit.
3
Permits and HOA
We check city and HOA guidelines up front so the fence meets them before we build.
4
Installation and finish
We set the posts, hang the fence and gates, and paint or stain cedar if you want it. Then we walk the line with you.
Why Millburn
Built to last, start to finish.
Start to finish
Measuring, installing and finishing all come from one crew, with no handoffs between trades.
Screws, not nails
We fasten with screws, so boards stay tight as wood moves through Utah's seasons.
Reinforced gates and footings
Gates are reinforced, and post footings get more concrete than the minimum, because gates and posts are where fences fail first.
Questions
Before you reach out
Do I need a permit or HOA approval for a fence?
Often, yes. Height and setback rules vary by city, and many HOAs require approval of the style and color. We check the guidelines before we build.
Cedar or vinyl: which should I choose?
Cedar gives a natural look and can be painted or stained to match the yard. Vinyl costs less to maintain because it doesn't need staining. We help you compare on site.
Can you paint or stain a cedar fence?
Yes. Finishing is part of our start-to-finish installation if you want it.
Can you replace or match an existing fence?
Often, yes. We look at the existing run, the posts and the property line on site before we quote the work.
How much does a fence cost?
Price depends on length, height, material, gates and site conditions. We price your fence after the on-site consultation.
What areas do you serve?
We work across Salt Lake, Davis, Utah and Weber Counties, from Ogden to Provo.
