Cedar Hills Landscape Installation
Millburn designed and installed this Cedar Hills landscape with an emphasis on planting, walkways, gathering areas, boulders and a central fountain. The project wraps around the brick building rather than concentrating the landscape in a single area.

Planting Around the Building
Planting beds run along the building and through the surrounding grounds. Trees, shrubs, flowering plants, ornamental grasses and groundcover create layers of texture while leaving the architecture visible.
Walkways and Connections
Concrete and paver walkways connect entrances and outdoor areas throughout the property. Smaller stepping-stone paths move through the planting beds, creating additional connections without adding large areas of hardscape.
Boulders as Landscape Features
Large natural boulders are used throughout the planting rather than being isolated as decoration. They break up broad beds, add height and give the landscape a stronger connection to the mountain setting.
Fountain and Paved Gathering Area
A tiered fountain sits within a circular planted island surrounded by pavers. The fountain and surrounding hardscape create a clear focal point while remaining connected to the planting around the building.

The strength of this project is the amount of landscape detail across the entire site. Planting, paths, boulders and the fountain repeat around the property, so no single side of the building feels unfinished.
