Complete Backyard Transformations · Salt Lake City & the Wasatch Front
Your whole backyard, planned and built as one project.
Instead of a patio one year and a fence the next, we design your entire backyard as a single plan, then build it in one project or in phases that fit your budget, so nothing looks bolted on afterward.

Full-property transformations
One plan, front yard to back, instead of pieces added over years.
Full-property projects planned as one design, so the hardscape, planting, structures and lighting all read as a single finished yard.
Why one plan matters
Pieces added over separate years rarely end up looking like one yard.
When a patio, a fence, a fire pit and new planting are each added in a different year by different contractors, materials clash and grading doesn't connect. Planning the whole property once means every element, hardscape, structures, planting, lighting and turf, is chosen to work together.
One consistent style
Materials, plant palette and hardscape style are chosen once for the whole property, so nothing looks added on later.
Phased, without losing the plan
We design the full plan up front, then build it in phases that fit your budget and timeline, without losing the overall design.
One project manager, start to finish
One project manager runs the whole job, so scheduling and materials stay consistent from the first phase to the last.
What clients say
Designed well. Built on time and on budget.
How it works
One plan for the whole property, from first conversation to finished yard.
1
Consultation
We walk the whole property with you and talk through how you use every part of it, not just the piece you called about.
2
Whole-property design
Every part of the property goes on one plan: hardscape, structures, planting, lighting and turf, revised with you until it's right.
3
Build & walkthrough
Construction is scheduled once the agreement is signed. One project manager runs the build and walks the finished project with you.
4
Later phases, same plan
If you're building in phases, later phases follow the same original plan, so the finished yard still reads as one project.
Why Millburn
We plan the whole property once, then build it, in full or in phases.
Sequenced correctly
Grading, drainage, hardscape and planting are sequenced correctly across the whole property, not solved piecemeal.
One consistent look
Materials, style and plant palette carry across the whole yard, so nothing looks like it was added later.
Crews to handle the whole job
We have the crews and resources to execute full-property projects, not just single features.
Questions
Before you reach out
Does this include the front yard too?
Front and back, or just the backyard, whichever you'd like planned as one project. We'll talk through scope during your consultation.
How much does a full backyard transformation cost?
It depends on the size of the property and scope of work. We'll give you an exact price, broken out by phase if needed, during your consultation.
How many phases can a project be split into?
As many as your budget calls for. We design the full plan once, then schedule phases over whatever timeline works for you.
Can you work with parts of my yard I want to keep?
Yes. We can plan around existing elements you want to keep, and design the rest of the property to work with them.
How long does a full transformation take?
A full-property project typically takes several weeks to a few months, depending on scope. We'll give you a schedule during your consultation.
What areas do you serve?
We work across Salt Lake, Davis, Utah and Weber Counties, from Ogden to Provo.
